Local breweries and wineries are coming together this weekend at Creekside Plaza in Gahanna, Ohio for a good cause.

Wineries include: Wyandotte Winery, Eldchrist Winery, Good Vibes Winery and Camelot Cellars Boutique Winery.

Hops & Vines

Volunteer organizers are looking forward to the addition of Brothers Drake, a local meadery. (Meade is created by fermenting honey with water and various fruits, grains, spices and hops.)

A gourmet taco bar will be provided by Local Cantina, while Sauer Cakes–a Gahanna bakery–will provide dessert. Soul Kitchn’, one of Gahanna’s most popular bands, will provide live entertainment.
Organizers have also partnered with Uber to ensure participants get home safe.

Since 2008, the funds raised by annual Foundation events have contributed toward $30,000 in camp scholarships allowing over 200 kids to attend camp; $30,000 for community parks and recreation projects including the comfort station on the Big Walnut Trail, supporting the Creekside Live music series, community gardens and school environmental partnerships; and $20,000 to community art projects including the Historical Mural on Mill Street and five unique art installations in the Creekside District.

This year, naming rights will be auctioned for three separate artistic style bike racks to be located in and around the Creekside District. Last year, the GPRF commissioned its fourth piece of public art, We Live Here–a bench sculpture located at Creekside Park near the waterfall.

Event program to include: 15 tasting tickets for local wine or beer samples, live auction and raffles. Additional tasting tickets will be available for sale at the event.
