Visit Gahanna’s annual Creekside Blues & Jazz Fest is returning for its 20th anniversary from June 15-17. Traditionally held on the third weekend in June in the beautiful Creekside Gahanna (117 Mill St.), the event draws music lovers and devoted fans from across the region. What started with one small stage featuring some local performers (including a young lady singing “Annie” showtunes), the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival is now recognized as the source for “Ohio’s BEST Blues and Jazz.” The 2018 event will feature 90+ hours of live music on 5 stages, Craft Beer and Cocktail Tastings, dozens of food and retail vendors, the Giant Eagle Family Fun Zone, Amusement rides and much more.
In celebration of the 20th anniversary, we’re introducing #MyCBJFStory, featuring some of the great stories and memories of fans, founders, volunteers, operations team, musicians, and vendors –to give you an idea of what makes this event so unique and unforgettable. Got a #CBJF story? Email it to firstname.lastname@example.org and you just might snag some complimentary wristbands! Take advantage of early bird ticket discounts and buy your tickets online here!
Our first #MyCBJFStory features Bob Thomas — long-time member of the CBJF Planning Committee, Blues Stage manager and member of the Columbus Blues Alliance. If you know blues in Central Ohio, you likely know Bob. (And Charlie).
